14pt;\">Issues of further expansion of the Uzbek-Turkish relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation were considered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">At the beginning of the meeting, Fuat Oktay, on behalf of the President and the fraternal people of Turkey, conveyed sincere congratulations to the leader of Uzbekistan on his convincing victory in the recent presidential elections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It was emphasized that the Turkish side highly appreciates and fully supports the pragmatic policy of the President of Uzbekistan, aimed at improving the welfare of the population and strengthening the international authority of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During the talks, special attention was paid to the issues of developing inter-parliamentary exchanges and strengthening parliamentary control over the implementation of decisions taken at the highest level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The head of our state welcomed the agreements on the establishment of inter-parliamentary cooperation groups and the development of an appropriate road map.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The importance of taking coordinated measures to increase the volume of mutual trade and expand air traffic, promote promising
