Also, modern lighting equipment of the second ICAO category (CAT-II) will be installed at the airfield complex, which will allow receiving\/departing all types of aircraft at night and in difficult weather conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The existing airport runway, 2985 meters long and 44 meters wide, had limitations on receiving many types of aircraft due to the low load-bearing capacity of the pavement, and also due to the lack of a modern lighting system, restrictions on receiving aircraft at night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The project will be implemented in the period 2023-2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The implementation of the project contributes to the development of tourism and improvement of the investment climate in the region.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first stage of construction of a new airfield complex has begun at Andijan International Airport, the press service of &#8220;UZBEKISTAN AIRPORTS&#8221; reports.
