At the beginning of the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev thanked Vladimir Putin for the traditionally warm welcome and hospitality, and also highly appreciated the current state of bilateral relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamics of multifaceted Uzbek-Russian cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was emphasized that in preparation for the current visit, a number of events were successfully held at the highest level, including the fourth meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of government, a medical forum, and forums of rectors and regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Industrial cooperation is developing dynamically. The volume of Russian investment in Uzbekistan is growing.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presidents stated the importance of further developing interaction between the regions. As a result of the third Forum of Interregional Cooperation held in Kazan on October 4, agreements and contracts worth $3.5 billion were signed.<\/span><\/p>\n

An agreement was reached on the preparation of a separate \u201cRoad Map\u201d of industrial cooperation by region with a schedule for organizing mutual visits throughout the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also during the meeting, issues of ensuring social guarantees for our citizens working in Russia were discussed in detail.<\/span><\/p>\n

The day before, the opening of the updated Uzbekistan pavilion also took place at the All-Russian Exhibition Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presidents highly appreciated the rich and diverse cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Important cultural events have been organized: the premiere of the national ballet \u201cLazgi\u201d in Moscow, the Days of Uzbek Cinema, and events of the \u201cRussian Seasons\u201d project in our country.<\/span><\/p>\n

The leaders of the two states agreed to adopt a rich Program of Cultural Cooperation for 2024-2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presidents exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, which took place in a sincere and friendly atmosphere, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
