href=\"https:\/\/chamber.uz\/ru\/news\/9177\">reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sverenins.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/6ba3ebb2d977df19060959baa3b53f6d.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16545\" src=\"http:\/\/sverenins.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/6ba3ebb2d977df19060959baa3b53f6d.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"460\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">German-Eurasian Economic Union<\/span> is an independent, non-partisan representation of the interests of medium-sized (family) companies and active figures from all sectors and professional groups interested in developing and maintaining economic relations between Germany and the countries of Eurasia.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The main goal of this event is to establish business contacts between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the participants of the German delegation, present and discuss major investment projects in Uzbekistan, as well as identify priority areas for further deepening cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islam Zhasimov and President of the German-Eurasian Economic Union Thomas Overbeck delivered welcoming speeches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The event was attended by representatives of 17 German companies engaged in the fields of mechanical engineering, metalworking, construction, agriculture, industrial waste processing and other areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As a result, B2B negotiations were held between Uzbek and German businesses, and a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the German-Eurasian Economic Union, with the aim of strengthening and expanding trade, economic, scientific and technical relations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In conclusion, the parties expressed satisfaction with the results of the negotiations and agreed on further cooperation on the implementation of joint activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As part of the visit, it is also planned to visit the Tashkent and Samarkand metallurgical plants, as well as the Almalyk mining and
