{"id":11209,"date":"2024-03-29T19:44:33","date_gmt":"2024-03-29T14:44:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/?p=11209"},"modified":"2024-03-29T19:44:33","modified_gmt":"2024-03-29T14:44:33","slug":"prezident-uzbekistana-otmetil-shirokie-vozmozhnosti-dlya-narashhivaniya-mezhregionalnogo-sotrudnichestva-s-kitaem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/en\/novosti-uzbekistana\/prezident-uzbekistana-otmetil-shirokie-vozmozhnosti-dlya-narashhivaniya-mezhregionalnogo-sotrudnichestva-s-kitaem\/","title":{"rendered":"The President of Uzbekistan noted the wide opportunities for increasing interregional cooperation with China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>On March 28, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the People&#8217;s Republic of China led by Chairman of the People&#8217;s Government of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Erkin Tuniyaz, the press service of the head of our state <a href=\"https:\/\/president.uz\/ru\/lists\/view\/7121\">reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sverenins.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/da8447d5-013a-fd8f-ec08-0ca5cf9af986_lists_slider_7121.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17008\" src=\"http:\/\/sverenins.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/da8447d5-013a-fd8f-ec08-0ca5cf9af986_lists_slider_7121.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"852\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Priority areas for further expansion of Uzbek-Chinese multifaceted cooperation were considered, including the development of practical interaction between the regions of Uzbekistan and the XUAR.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The current highest level of Uzbek-Chinese relations of friendship and all-weather strategic partnership was noted with deep satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Uzbekistan\u2019s trade turnover with the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is growing \u2013 this region currently accounts for about 10 percent of mutual trade between the countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The portfolio of investment projects with leading companies from the XUAR amounts to $3.5 billion and today covers such areas as \u201cgreen\u201d energy and the electrical industry, the construction sector and the production of new types of building materials, metallurgy, infrastructure modernization and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A cultural exchange program is being actively implemented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The head of our state noted the importance of further building up mutually beneficial cooperation with the XUAR and accelerating joint projects.
