﻿{"id":11222,"date":"2024-04-01T10:02:49","date_gmt":"2024-04-01T05:02:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/?p=11222"},"modified":"2024-04-01T10:02:49","modified_gmt":"2024-04-01T05:02:49","slug":"v-italii-budet-predstavlena-vystavka-iz-uzbekistana-ne-propusti-svoj-vyhod","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/en\/novosti-uzbekistana\/v-italii-budet-predstavlena-vystavka-iz-uzbekistana-ne-propusti-svoj-vyhod\/","title":{"rendered":"An exhibition from Uzbekistan \u201cDon&#8217;t Miss the Cue\u201d will be presented in Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The 60th Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art will open in Venice (Italy) on April 20. \u201cForeigners Everywhere\u201d is the theme announced by the curator of the 60th Venice Biennale, Adriano Pedrosa, the correspondent\u00a0 of &#8220;Gazeta.uz&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gazeta.uz\/ru\/2024\/03\/29\/exhibition\/\">reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">According to the press service of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan, the pavilion will present the exhibition \u201cDon\u2019t Miss the Cue\u201d, created under the curation of the Center for Contemporary Art in Tashkent.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Uzbek artist Aziza Kadiri is taking part in the project, and the Tashkent group of artists Qizlar Collective is working with her to create an exhibition for the pavilion.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The exhibition \u201cDon\u2019t Miss the Cue\u201d explores themes of belonging and identity through the experiences of women from Central Asia, exploring how they navigate and reinvent themselves through the process of migration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The concept of the exhibition project \u201cDon\u2019t Miss the Cue\u201d is directly related to the stated theme of the biennale. \u201cEntering the pavilion, visitors will go through a complex migration path, rethinking their personal experience in the process of interacting with the installations. The exhibition creates a backstage theater atmosphere, inspired by cultural centers that were located throughout Eurasia at the beginning of the 20th century\u201d, &#8211; the statement says.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThe theater setting comes to life through sculptures based on\u00a0traditional costume designs and\u00a0is complemented by audiovisual materials from the Qizlar Collective group of female artists. The project focuses on women\u2019s stories, collective practices and the complex relationship between the physical body and the world around it\u201d, &#8211; the foundation noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The exhibition also explores the interaction between technology and\u00a0tradition.
