{"id":11332,"date":"2024-04-17T17:16:57","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T12:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/?p=11332"},"modified":"2024-04-17T17:16:57","modified_gmt":"2024-04-17T12:16:57","slug":"tashkent-stal-molodezhnoj-stolitsej-sng","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/en\/novosti-uzbekistana\/tashkent-stal-molodezhnoj-stolitsej-sng\/","title":{"rendered":"Tashkent has become the Youth Capital of the CIS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>A solemn ceremony was held in Tashkent to give the city the status of \u201cYouth Capital of the CIS,\u201d the correspondent of \u201cKazinform\u201d International News Agency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inform.kz\/ru\/tashkent-stal-molodezhnoy-stolitsey-sng-d57d8c\">reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sverenins.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/5e53c06ca0049049451193.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17119\" src=\"http:\/\/sverenins.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/5e53c06ca0049049451193.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"539\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The solemn ceremony was attended by the heads of delegations of Uzbekistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The decision that Tashkent will become the first youth capital of the CIS was made on June 8, 2023 in Sochi at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the implementation of the international project \u201cYouth Capital of the CIS\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev sent greetings to the organizers and participants of the event. He noted that every year in the Commonwealth space, interstate interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere is improving, new projects and programs are appearing.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cOne of these projects aimed at uniting the efforts of the Commonwealth countries in the field of working with youth, exchanging experience in issues of developing the potential of young people and improving international youth cooperation is the project \u201cYouth Capital of the CIS\u201d, &#8211; said Sergey Lebedev.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States Tatyana Kovaleva presented the capital&#8217;s khokimiyat with a certificate of assigning a new status to Tashkent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In 2025, the Azerbaijani city of Gabala will become the new youth capital of the Commonwealth, and in 2026 this status will pass to the city of Kapan in Armenia.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A solemn ceremony was held in Tashkent to give the city the status of \u201cYouth Capital of the CIS,\u201d the correspondent of \u201cKazinform\u201d International News Agency reports.
