Particular attention was paid to deepening political dialogue, increasing trade and economic cooperation, expanding interregional contacts and cultural and humanitarian exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n

The leaders of the two countries confirmed their mutual desire to continue constructive cooperation within regional structures and on international platforms in order to combine efforts to promote interests and ensure sustainable development in Central Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was emphasized that the signing of the historic Treaty on Allied Relations symbolizes the transition to a qualitatively new stage in Uzbek-Tajik relations.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, it is noted that realizing the potential of allied relations requires increasing the effectiveness of contacts at all levels.<\/span><\/p>\n

It should be noted that in recent years the volume of trade turnover has increased 40 times. The number of joint ventures increased 15 times.<\/span><\/p>\n

The governments have been tasked with bringing trade turnover to $2 billion, including by expanding the range of mutual supplies and speedily launching cross-border trade zones.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the eve of the visit, a business forum was successfully held, as a result of which a solid portfolio of new cooperation projects and trade contracts was formed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among them are mutually beneficial projects in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy, mining, agricultural, textile and pharmaceutical industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The parties also outlined specific plans for the implementation of cooperation projects. For these purposes, the potential of the joint Investment Company will be used.<\/span><\/p>\n

The importance of intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges was noted. Regular film screenings, concerts, performances, exhibitions and youth forums are emphasized. The need to expand interaction in the field of education and develop accessible tourism programs was indicated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The leader of our country invited President Emomali Rahmon to visit Uzbekistan at a time convenient for him.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
