The system of regulation of public procurement is also shown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Over the past seven years, investments worth about $4 billion have been attracted to the region. As a result, 90 thousand jobs and export opportunities worth $1 billion 800 million were created. This year, 607 projects worth $1 billion 300 million are being implemented in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In the Bukhara region, 80 projects have been formed with a total value of $14 billion, in which foreign investors and local entrepreneurs are investing. Of these, 14 projects worth $4 billion were jointly presented to the President by investors and industry leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Companies from China, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia, South Korea and other countries are investing in the projects. Projects cover such industries as the production of building materials, electrical engineering, chemistry, textiles, food, pharmaceuticals, medicine, mining, fish farming and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Thus, it is planned to build a wind power plant with a capacity of 600 megawatts in the Gijduvan region in cooperation with China, develop a graphite deposit and organize the production of batteries for electric scooters in the Peshkun region with the participation of a Malaysian investor, as well as the creation of a chemical cluster in the Bukhara region by Iranian investors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The implementation of these 80 projects will provide employment to more than 22.2 thousand people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The President gave additional instructions on increasing the production of value-added products and localization, as well as developing services.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The head of state got acquainted with the industrial exhibition and new investment projects in the Bukhara region, the press service of the head of our state reports.
