As a part of the visit of the Uzbek business delegation to Poland, a round table was held at the Embassy of our country on the trade, economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan, organized jointly with the \u2018\u2018Poland-Asia\u2019\u2019 Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the correspondent of \u2018\u2018Dunyo\u2019\u2019 news agency reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The event was attended by business representatives of the two countries, in particular the heads of the companies \u201cEXIMMED\u201d, \u201cAl Af Expedition\u201d and \u201cResources\u201d (Uzbekistan), as well as \u201cFerro\u201d, \u201cAT.Trading\u201d, \u201cPolfrost\u201d, \u201cJaeger\u201d, “Technomex”, “Simed” and “ACTION” (Poland).<\/span><\/p>\n

Opening the event, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev noted promising areas of mutually beneficial Uzbek-Polish cooperation and put forward proposals for expanding investment partnerships and industrial cooperation. He emphasized that there is great potential for the development of direct ties between businessmen of the two countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The President of the \u2018\u2018Poland-Asia\u2019\u2019 Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Janusz Piechocinski, in his speech drew attention to the strengthening of trade, economic and investment cooperation, noting that bilateral trade turnover has tripled in recent years.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, issues of expanding economic cooperation between the two countries, implementing new investment projects and strengthening trade relations were discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Polish companies presented their proposals for the implementation of technological developments in Uzbekistan. Representatives of the business community of our country expressed their readiness to use Polish experience and cooperate with highly qualified specialists.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of negotiations in B2B format held within the framework of the round table, agreements were reached on the export of agricultural and food products of Uzbekistan to Poland. In addition, together with the Polish company Polforst, the issue of opening an Uzbek trading house in Poland was considered, which will provide product logistics, exposure, warehousing, sales and distribution throughout Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Particular emphasis was placed on the issue of opening representative offices of Polish companies in Uzbekistan to resolve transport and logistics issues.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dialogue between entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Poland has become an important step in bringing economic cooperation between the two countries to a new level. Representatives of both sides expressed confidence in the further expansion and strengthening of partnerships.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
