During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of \u2018\u2018VEHA\u2019\u2019 LLC, which specializes in the production of alcoholic beverages and mainly wine and is located in the Magaramkent district of Dagestan, and also visited the vineyards located on the territory of the enterprise.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation held talks with the Chairman of the Committee for the Regulation of Viticulture and Alcoholic Beverages of the Republic of Dagestan Sherif Kerimkhanov, discussing issues of establishing cooperation. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize an official delegation of specialists and investors from the Republic of Dagestan to the Bukhara region in order to exchange experience and familiarize themselves with the region’s capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

A meeting with the head of the city administration Akhmed Kuliev was held in the city of Derbent, where issues of developing cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian and tourism spheres were discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation of the Bukhara region visited the historical monuments \u2018\u2018Naryn-Kala\u2019\u2019 and \u2018\u2018Juma Mosque\u2019\u2019 in Derbent.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Derbent Cognac Factory, representatives of the Bukhara region got acquainted with the process of alcohol production, the conditions for storing wine products and projects related to their implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

A meeting with the head of the government of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov was held in Makhachkala. The parties discussed issues of developing and strengthening bilateral relations in the trade and economic, scientific and technical and socio-cultural spheres. Following the negotiations, agreements were reached on approving a plan of activities for mutual cooperation, as well as opening a trading house of Uzbekistan in Makhachkala.<\/span><\/p>\n

The parties also agreed to exchange best practices in the field of tourism. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Tourism Department of the Bukhara Region and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Dagestan.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a part of the visit, a meeting of representatives of the business circles of the two sides was held, at which issues of attracting investment, industrial and trade cooperation were discussed.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
