ON THE INTRODUCTION OF THE COMMODITY NOMENCLATURE OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN, VERSION 2022<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to unify the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Harmonized System of Description and Coding of Goods used in world practice (version 2022):<\/span><\/p>\n

1. <\/span>The following<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n

in accordance with the resolution of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 29, 1998 No. 687-I \u201cOn accession to the International Convention on the Harmonized Description and Coding System\u201d, the Republic of Uzbekistan joined the International Convention on the Harmonized Description and Coding System (Brussels, June 14, 1983) ;<\/span><\/p>\n

in accordance with the Agreement on a Unified Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity of the Commonwealth of Independent States dated November 3, 1995, mutual agreement was reached on the application of a unified Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity, based on the Harmonized System of Description and Coding of Goods developed by the World Customs Organization;<\/span><\/p>\n

The World Customs Organization, in order to harmonize the international classification of goods circulating in world trade, has made changes and additions to the Harmonized System of Description and Coding of Goods<\/span>;<\/span><\/p>\n

starting<\/span> from January 1, 2022, the 7th version of the unified Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity of the Commonwealth of Independent States was put into practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. To put into effect from January 1, 2023 the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, version 2022, developed <\/span>based on<\/span> the updated Harmonized System for Description and Coding of Goods.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. <\/span>By January 1, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers should approve the list of products whose classification codes have changed due to the implementation of the 2022 revision of the Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the State Customs Committee, before January 1, 2023, ensure the publication, communication to interested organizations and posting on their official websites of the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, version 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Recognize as invalid from January 1, 2023, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 28, 2017 No. PP-3448 \u201cOn the introduction of the Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, version 2017.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

6. <\/span>The control over the implementation of this resolution <\/span>shall be assigned<\/span> to the <\/span>Deputy Prime Minister <\/span>Zh.A<\/span>. <\/span>Khodzhaev<\/span> and Chairman of the State Customs Committee <\/span>A.Yu<\/span>. <\/span>Mavlonov<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
