In the first half of August of the current year, a business mission led by representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade visited EU countries, the PR center of the Ministry reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the city of Prato, Italy, the delegation held B2B meetings with representatives of companies \u2018\u2018Alba Tessile\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018T.I.S. Textile Innovation Sustainability\u2019\u2019, as well as with Italian agents involved in the distribution and retail of textile products.<\/span><\/p>\n

A meeting was also held in the city of Martina Franca with the mayor, Gianfranco Palmizano. Cooperation in the field of textile production sourcing was discussed, particularly with local companies such as \u2018\u2018Rossorame\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Ametlab\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018ItalTex\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Sartoria La Torre\u2019\u2019 and \u2018\u2018SI Group\u2019\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the visit to Germany as part of the business mission, negotiations were held with a company specializing in the production of specialized clothing, \u2018\u2018Weitblick\u2019\u2019, which expressed its intention to place orders in Uzbekistan and relocate production capacities to our country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, a meeting took place with representatives of \u2018\u2018TB International\u2019\u2019, which represents over 15 brands, including \u2018\u2018Urban Classics\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Mister Tee\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Flexfit Yupoong\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Build your Brand\u2019\u2019 and \u2018\u2018Merchcode\u2019\u2019. These brands already place orders based on sourcing in Uzbekistan. The company representatives confirmed their readiness to expand the range of orders for each of their brands. Logistics and access to German marketplaces such as \u2018\u2018Zalando\u2019\u2019 were discussed during the negotiations.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Spain, the Uzbekistan delegation held productive meetings with major companies and retailers such as \u2018\u2018El Corte Ingl\u00e9s\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Gedepsa\u2019\u2019 and \u2018\u2018ACIR Southern Europe\u2019\u2019. The main focus of the negotiations was on increasing the competitiveness of Uzbek products in the Spanish market, as well as ensuring stable logistics and adapting products to EU requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the negotiations with a representative of the global procurement department of \u2018\u2018El Corte Ingl\u00e9s\u2019\u2019, both parties expressed interest in collaboration, including the possibility of providing Uzbek enterprises with spaces in the store network for product sales and placing orders for production under the company\u2019s brands – \u2018\u2018\u00c9nfasis\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Dustin\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Sfera\u2019\u2019, and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Discussions were held with representatives of \u2018\u2018Tendam\u2019\u2019, which includes brands such as Women\u2019secret, \u2018\u2018Springfield\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Cortefiel\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Pedro del Hierro\u2019\u2019, regarding pricing and certification of Uzbek products for import into the EU. The European side expressed readiness to cooperate with the Uzbek side in organizing uninterrupted product supplies to the Spanish and Latin American markets.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Poland, the delegation held meetings with the company \u2018\u2018PPH LEGS\u2019\u2019 and the Association of Polish Textile Manufacturers, which includes over 100 national enterprises. B2B negotiations were also held with representatives of \u2018\u2018PPHU JOLA-STYL\u2019\u2019 and Polish textile manufacturers, including \u2018\u2018Colorinvest\u2019\u2019, \u2018\u2018Arlen Textile Group\u2019\u2019, and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, the President of the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce, Janusz Pehochinski, expressed the intention to organize a business mission to Uzbekistan to visit local textile producers and seek partners.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation reflected a great interest from European business circles in establishing open and mutually beneficial cooperation and expanding existing partnerships with our country.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
