the 300th anniversary of the birth of the poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fragi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During the conversation, special attention was paid to the issues of further expanding the Uzbek-Turkmen strategic partnership, deepening multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the political, inter-parliamentary, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The dynamic growth of mutual trade turnover, joint work on launching a border trade zone, strengthening cooperation in the field of energy, transport, agriculture and water management were noted with satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Events are regularly held within the framework of active interregional, business, cultural and humanitarian exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan also considered current issues on the regional and international agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest level was discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The head of our state presented the National Leader of the Turkmen people with a collection of selected works by Makhtumkuli, published in the Uzbek
