On October 31, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the Navoi region, the press service of the head of our state reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This region with a developed industry occupies an important place in the economy of our country. Thanks to economic and investment opportunities, the number of new enterprises has been increasing in recent years.<\/span><\/p>\n

The head of our state got acquainted with the activities of the joint venture \u2018\u2018Uzbekistan hydrogen peroxide\u2019\u2019 in the city of Navoi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hydrogen peroxide is widely used by enterprises. In general, the annual demand for this chemical compound in the industries of our country averages more than 15 thousand tons. It is this popular product that is produced at the joint venture \u2018\u2018Uzbekistan hydrogen peroxide\u2019\u2019 that began its activities this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the project worth about 30 million dollars, a plant was built and modern equipment from China, India, Turkey, Germany, Italy and Sweden was installed. About 80 people are provided with jobs. The enterprise is capable of producing 30 thousand tons of hydrogen peroxide per year.<\/span><\/p>\n

This compound is used in the chemical, metallurgical, electrical, pharmaceutical, textile, food, agricultural and other industries. In particular, it is actively used in the production of paper, household and chemical products, uranium and cobalt mining. It is used as a packaging cleaner, bleach for artificial and synthetic fibers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main thing is high economic efficiency. Here, natural gas will be deeply processed and turned into a market product. For example, a 60% hydrogen peroxide solution creates three times more added value in medicine, and twice as much in household chemicals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The enterprise\u2019s laboratory is also equipped with the most modern equipment. It conducts analysis every hour, which is important for continuous quality control of products.<\/span><\/p>\n

The head of state familiarized himself with the technological process at the enterprise and talked with specialists.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The goal of each project is high income and creation of added value. In this context, this enterprise is of particular importance. Now, to ensure production stability and increase customer confidence, it is necessary to guarantee reliable supplies of raw materials. The localization program can provide for preferential lending,<\/em> – noted Shavkat Mirziyoyev.<\/span><\/p>\n

The responsible persons have been instructed to increase the number of such projects using this enterprise as an example, and to support entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hydrogen peroxide has been imported to Uzbekistan from abroad at great expense until now. Now domestic products will fully cover domestic demand and even replace imports. At the same time, the enterprise has no analogues in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Half of the volume of manufactured products is supplied to the domestic market, and the rest – to the CIS and European countries. In a short time, almost 1.5 million dollars worth of exports were carried out. The annual export potential of the enterprise is 10 million dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the storage and delivery of these liquid chemical products, the production of plastic molded containers has been established here. Solar panels with a capacity of 27 kilowatts have been installed to provide the enterprise with alternative energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that previously there was no private sector in the chemical industry of our country. This enterprise is one of the business entities that have entered the sphere in recent years.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, together with the Turkish company \u2018\u2018Orbak Metal Industry\u2019\u2019, it is planned to increase the capacity for the production of hydrogen peroxide to 45 thousand tons, as well as organize a food industry project in the adjacent territory.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
