Itt was noted that the regional office in Tashkent oversees the Bank\u2019s operations in eight countries: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Key discussions included an assessment of the portfolio of prospective joint projects across sectors such as water management, telecommunications, hydropower, and transportation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The parties reached a unified position to extend financial support, on a non-sovereign basis, to projects aimed at producing high-demand industrial products in Uzbekistan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Background: To date, the Export-Import Bank of China has financed 51 projects in Uzbekistan worth over $3 billion.
