Also present were heads of relevant ministries and departments, along with representatives from prominent Vietnamese companies, including\u00a0Petrovietnam, Vinachem, Sovico, Vietnam Airlines, Vinafood, Vietravel, Perseus, Delion, and others.<\/p>\n<p>The agenda included current issues related to expanding bilateral trade and economic investment cooperation. This encompasses collaboration in various sectors, including\u00a0energy, oil and gas, the chemical industry, geology, agriculture, healthcare, digitalization, tourism, and pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech, Jamshid Khodjaev highlighted the strong Uzbek-Vietnamese dialogue, emphasizing Uzbekistan&#8217;s commitment to actively pursuing joint initiatives focused on industrial partnerships, technological exchange, and the enhancement of logistics connections.<\/p>\n<p>The Vietnamese side also expressed its commitment to actively participating in joint projects, establishing joint ventures, implementing measures to increase mutual trade volumes, launching new flights, and opening Uzbek trading houses in Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>The leaders of the Vietnamese companies\u00a0Petrovietnam, Sovico, and Delion\u00a0have expressed interest in undertaking projects in the areas of energy, aviation, digital transformation, food production, and information and communication technologies.<\/p>\n<p>In turn, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Thanh Man, expressed gratitude to the people and government of Uzbekistan for their warm welcome. He emphasized that today&#8217;s dialogue was a logical continuation of his meeting with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, during which agreements were reached to expand the strategic partnership and elevate trade and investment cooperation to a new level.<\/p>\n<p>Following the roundtable discussion, a\u00a0Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministries of Health of both countries, along with a Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Vietnam for 2025-2026. Additionally, a Plan of Practical Activities for the Development of Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Vietnam\u00a0for the same period was also established.<\/p>\n<p>These documents outline specific steps to enhance multifaceted bilateral cooperation.
