As a result of these efforts, over the past five years, the volume of electricity production has increased by 30 percent and reached 81.5 billion kilowatt-hours.<\/p>\n<p>According to calculations, by 2035, electricity consumption in our country will amount to 121 billion kilowatt-hours. In this regard, measures are already being taken today to develop all areas of energy. By 2030, the share of &#8220;green&#8221; energy in the total generation volume is planned to be increased to 54 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Hydropower and nuclear energy are considered the most promising areas.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, in 2025-2026, it is planned to build 2,983 micro-hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 167 megawatts. This year, it is planned to commission 1,185 micro-hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 65 megawatts, most of which will be implemented by entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p>It is also planned to use nuclear energy as one of the basic sources in the future. Work is currently underway on a project to build a low-power nuclear power plant.
