It was noted that\u00a0the total volume of bilateral investments exceeded USD 10 billion in 2024, marking a\u00a02.5-fold increase\u00a0compared to 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Key discussion areas included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthening investment and financial cooperation, including the use of national currencies in loan arrangements;<\/li>\n<li>Development of economic and industrial zones involving Chinese enterprises;<\/li>\n<li>Support for joint projects in emerging sectors such as new infrastructure, energy, and artificial intelligence;<\/li>\n<li>Expanding cooperation in transport, agriculture, information technology, and mining.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The sides also explored\u00a0the potential for establishing new joint industrial zones\u00a0across various regions of Uzbekistan and discussed\u00a0mechanisms to support and stimulate investment activity.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon, a\u00a0business forum\u00a0was held with the participation of representatives from both countries.
