Many German companies are involved in completing this construction project.<\/p>\n<p>According to Olaf Schmidt, Head of International Mining Operations at Schachtbau Nordhausen GmbH, the global mining industry &#8211; particularly in Central Asia &#8211; is moving toward compliance with international standards.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThese standards are essential for full participation in the global market. It is necessary to focus on modernization and advanced technologies, which are now relevant on a global scale,\u201d he noted.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ekaterina Galitsyna, Director of Business Development at KfW IPEX-Bank, spoke about a new financial instrument launched last year.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe German government has created a special raw materials instrument to support the raw materials sector, managed by KfW. He also highlighted other key sectors, including agribusiness, IT, and tourism.<\/p>\n<p><em>Uzbekistan is a bridge between East and West. We are located at the very heart of the Silk Road. In this regard, we have many projects focused on the development of cross-border corridors, construction of railways, and highway infrastructure,\u201d Alimov added.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>During the session, participants engaged in discussions, answered questions, and exchanged views.
