It was noted that last year, mutual trade reached $18 billion, and Chinese investment in Uzbekistan amounted to $17 billion.<\/p>\n<p>It was stated that cooperation between the regions of the two countries facilitates the implementation of new investment projects, the creation of production and industrial capacities, logistics facilities, and energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Participants emphasized that this forum will help take interregional cooperation between Uzbekistan and China to a new level, open up new opportunities for implementing joint initiatives, expanding investment partnerships, and further bringing the peoples of the two countries closer together.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the forum, a 2,000-square-meter National Pavilion of Uzbekistan was organized to showcase our country&#8217;s export, tourism, and investment potential.<\/p>\n<p>Plenary sessions were also held on the green economy, digitalization, education, women&#8217;s entrepreneurship, tourism, transport and logistics, innovation, and agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>Following the meetings and negotiations, the parties signed a number of agreements on investment and cooperation projects aimed at developing long-term interregional cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, the First Interregional Cooperation Forum between Uzbekistan and China was held in January 2024 in Urumqi, China, and the Second Interregional Forum was held in June 2025 in Samarkand.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Third Uzbekistan-China Interregional Cooperation Forum was held in Xi&#8217;an, the correspondent of &#8220;Dunyo&#8221; news agency reports.
