Most importantly, every element of our strategic partnership and alliance is being translated into concrete, tangible actions,\u201d Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.<\/p>\n<p>The leaders noted the dynamic development of bilateral ties. Close contacts have been established between the parliaments, governments and sectoral agencies of the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>As part of preparations for the visit, a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, the Business Council and the Regions Forum were successfully held.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past five years, bilateral trade has tripled. The basis for achieving this important target will be the adoption of a program containing specific measures to reach this level.<\/p>\n<p>New cooperation projects will be launched during the meeting. The importance of actively attracting funds from the Joint Investment Company to support such initiatives was emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>The need to strengthen connectivity between the two countries and jointly develop the Middle Corridor was highlighted.<\/p>\n<p>The leaders agreed to continue active exchanges in culture, education, youth policy and sports.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the new building of the Nizami Ganjavi National Pedagogical University will be opened, and construction of the \u201cAzerbaijan\u201d Park in New Tashkent will begin.<\/p>\n<p>To further strengthen ties between the two peoples, it was proposed to create a joint film titled \u201cThe Literary Bridge between Nizami Ganjavi and Alisher Navoi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The second Forum of Rectors of Leading Universities will be held in Azerbaijan this autumn.<\/p>\n<p>In 2027, an important sporting event \u2014 the FIFA U-20 World Cup \u2014 will be held in the two countries.
