Ltd.\u201d has begun practical implementation of an investment project to develop a \u201csmart city\u201d in Khiva, the correspondent of the Dunyo news agency <a href=\"https:\/\/dunyo.info\/ru\/news\/pakistanskaya-kompaniya-pristupila-k-realizacii-proekta-umnogo-goroda-v\">reports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/1790492131026_zp61kati0gj.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17450\" src=\"http:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/1790492131026_zp61kati0gj.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"950\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/1790492131026_zp61kati0gj.webp 950w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/1790492131026_zp61kati0gj-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/1790492131026_zp61kati0gj-768x432.webp 768w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/1790492131026_zp61kati0gj-254x143.webp 254w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The project is the result of lengthy negotiations between the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, the Khorezm Region administration, and \u201cHabib Rafiq Engineering\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative envisages expanding the territory of Khiva and creating a new urban district based on modern urban planning principles.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the project, residential complexes, social and commercial facilities, transport and engineering infrastructure, utility facilities, and other structures required by residents are planned to be constructed in stages.<\/p>\n<p>To promote the project, a company delegation, with the support of the Embassy, visited Khorezm Region several times. During the visits, specialists studied the proposed sites, following which the regional administration and the company signed a memorandum of understanding on the implementation of the investment project.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHabib Rafiq Engineering\u201d intends to draw on its experience in Pakistan in the construction of major urban and infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n<p>The project is expected to become one of the practical areas of economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan and contribute to the development of modern urban infrastructure in Khiva.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistani construction and infrastructure company \u201cHabib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.)
