During the visit, the delegation studied Egypt\u2019s practical experience in water resources management, development of new lands, modern irrigation technologies, seed production, livestock breeding, and the efficient use of desert areas.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also focused on strengthening ties with Egyptian research institutions and launching joint studies in water-saving technologies, hydrology and modelling, GIS and remote sensing, climate change, and water reuse. The importance of moving previously reached agreements on the exchange of experience between Uzbekistan and Egypt into the practical implementation stage was emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>The parties also considered prospects for implementing pilot projects in Uzbekistan aimed at restoring pastures and unused land, applying modern irrigation solutions, and developing seed production and livestock breeding. Based on Egypt\u2019s experience, proposals have been developed to initially implement pilot projects covering 20,000 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>The participants exchanged views on organizing reciprocal visits of specialists and researchers, developing joint projects, and strengthening scientific and practical cooperation.
