In particular, it was noted that in recent years the country has been implementing a comprehensive range of large-scale reforms aimed at fundamentally improving the investment and business climate. Particular attention is being paid to creating favorable conditions for investors, while regional authorities provide comprehensive support for the implementation of investment projects.<\/p>\n<p>It was noted that over the past decade, the volume of foreign direct investment attracted and utilized in Uzbekistan has increased significantly, exceeding $43 billion in 2025. It was emphasized that Uzbekistan is consistently developing a favorable investment climate and that the reforms being implemented are producing positive results.<\/p>\n<p>Participants were also presented with Uzbekistan\u2019s export potential for further developing bilateral trade with Malaysia. In particular, broad opportunities were highlighted for supplying fresh and dried fruits and vegetables, highly processed food products, finished non-ferrous metal and jewelry products, as well as textile and chemical goods.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, Enaz Suria, Head of Masuria Travel Sdn Bhd, spoke about the positive changes taking place in Uzbekistan and the conditions being created for doing business in the country. He noted that favorable conditions have now been established for launching a business in Uzbekistan and encouraged participants to visit the regions of the country with their business ideas and explore new opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Given the country\u2019s large domestic market and extensive raw material potential, it was also noted that the attractive tax incentives provided to companies operating in free economic zones across Uzbekistan\u2019s regions are generating significant interest among Malaysian investors.<\/p>\n<p>The head of NC Civil Construction and Engineering Sdn Bhd, who participated in the event, highlighted the significant potential and broad opportunities available in Uzbekistan\u2019s construction sector.
