The Pakistani side expressed interest in implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan in these areas.<\/p>\n<p>At the initial stage, it was proposed to jointly develop short-term educational programs lasting from three to six months in cooperation with medical technical schools in Uzbekistan. These programs are planned to focus particularly on the training and professional development of mid-level healthcare personnel, including nurses, laboratory diagnostics specialists, emergency medical personnel and other specialists, based on modern methods and approaches.<\/p>\n<p>The sides also exchanged views on organizing online classes, master classes and practical training sessions involving qualified specialists from Maroof International Hospital, arranging short-term internships and practical training for students of medical educational institutions, as well as establishing systematic mechanisms for sharing experience.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also addressed cooperation in medical technologies and pharmaceuticals. In particular, the Pakistani representative expressed interest in exporting to the Pakistani market coronary stents manufactured in Bukhara Region using South Korean technology.<\/p>\n<p>Particular attention during the talks was also paid to the development of medical tourism and establishing patient exchanges between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. In particular, the sides supported proposals to provide Pakistani citizens in Uzbekistan with comprehensive modern medical diagnostic, treatment and wellness services integrated into tourism programs, as well as to expand opportunities for Uzbek citizens to receive medical care at Maroof International Hospital clinics.<\/p>\n<p>The sides emphasized that filling cooperation in healthcare and medical education with concrete practical projects would contribute to further strengthening the multifaceted partnership between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>Maroof International Hospital was established in 2009. It is currently a multidisciplinary private healthcare institution.
