Uzbekistan was represented by I. Abdurakhmonov, Head of Department at the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, while T\u00fcrkiye was represented by H. Dilemre, Head of Department at the Ministry of Trade of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17667\" src=\"http:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1536\" srcset=\"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo_2026-10-16_12-59-25-254x190.jpg 254w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The parties discussed expanding bilateral trade with a target of $5 billion, eliminating tariff and non-tariff barriers, and facilitating market access for agricultural products, electrical engineering products, and light industry goods.<\/p>\n<p>Particular attention was paid to technical regulation, standardization, mutual recognition of certificates of conformity, and simplification of customs procedures. An agreement was reached to establish a technical working group on trade in electrical engineering products.<\/p>\n<p>Consultations were held on expanding the Preferential Trade Agreement to create additional opportunities for exporters.<\/p>\n<p>Following the meeting, the Protocol of the meeting was signed.
