The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan published the report \u201cThe Balance of Payments, International Investment Position and External Debt of the Republic of Uzbekistan\u201d for 2018.\u00a0So\u00a0according\u00a0to CB,\u00a0foreign investors were able to repatriate\u00a0$\u00a01.1\u00a0billion.<\/p>\n

Profit repatriation is a question that has long\u00a0prevented\u00a0development and attract\u00a0investment in the country.\u00a0Investors did not invest money in Uzbekistan, since it\u00a0was difficult to withdraw them\u00a0from the country\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Also, the report of the Central Bank provides data on foreign\u00a0trade turnover for 2018, which amounted to\u00a028,536.3<\/strong>\u00a0billion US dollars,<\/strong>\u00a0which\u00a0almost\u00a017%\u00a0more than in 2017\u00a0.<\/p>\n
