{"id":4879,"date":"2019-08-14T11:17:50","date_gmt":"2019-08-14T06:17:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/?p=4879"},"modified":"2019-08-21T14:07:45","modified_gmt":"2019-08-21T09:07:45","slug":"zakon-o-privatizatsii-zemli-podpisan-prezidentom-respubliki-uzbekistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/invest-in-uzbekistan.org\/en\/novoe-v-zakonodatelstve\/zakon-o-privatizatsii-zemli-podpisan-prezidentom-respubliki-uzbekistan\/","title":{"rendered":"On the privatization of land for non-agricultural purposes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The President signed the Law on the Privatization of Land for Non-Agricultural Purpose, which was approved by the Senate in May.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the Law, land privatization is carried out in the form of:<\/p>\n<p>-redemption of land plots that are on the basis of permanent use (possession) or inherited lifetime possession;<\/p>\n<p>-sales of land through an electronic online auction.<\/p>\n<p>Land plots can be privatized by individuals and legal entities &#8211; residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p>The law also defines what types of land cannot be the subject of privatization:<\/p>\n<p>-located in territories that do not have approved and published layout plans;<\/p>\n<p>-on which mineral deposits, strategic objects of state ownership are located and are not subject to privatization, the list of which is determined in accordance with the law;<\/p>\n<p>-infected with hazardous substances and susceptible to biogenic infection;<\/p>\n<p>-provided as parts of free economic and small industrial zones.<\/p>\n<p>The Law comes into force on March 20, 2020.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President signed the Law on the Privatization of Land for Non-Agricultural Purpose, which was approved by the Senate in May.
