At the end of August, an Intergovernmental meeting between China and Uzbekistan was held in China, where agreements, memorandums and direct contracts were signed for a total amount of 4.3 billion. To comply with all agreements, a Cabinet of Ministers resolution was signed on September 25, 2019, which contains action plan for the implementation of 54 joint projects.<\/p>\n
Projects will be implemented in the IT sector:<\/strong><\/p>\n cooperation in the implementation of the “Safe City” in the regions in the amount of 1 billion;<\/p>\n development of the Uzbektelecom broadband access network and the Uzmobile network;<\/p>\n implementation of IT in the emergency medical service;<\/p>\n Ucell\u2019s network development;<\/p>\n UMS\u2019s equipment modernization;<\/p>\n and other.<\/p>\n One of the agreements provides for the creation of a special economic zone near the city of Nurafshon by Tianjin Kaiteng company. There will be a branch of a large Chinese institute of industrial and civil facilities, the production of photovoltaic stations, a clothing factory and much more.<\/p>\n Chinese company Hebei Good Hope Logistics Development Co. will organize the production of pickups in Angren.<\/p>\n Chongqing Sunfeel Industrial company will create a cluster for the production, processing and manufacture of silk products.
