During the two-day visit, meetings were held with a number of officials of the Russian Federation, in particular, with Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, as well as Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The meetings discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of existing agreements, as well as aspects of the further development of Uzbek-Russian relations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The stable nature of bilateral contacts and active cooperation in all areas of multifaceted partnership between the two countries were noted. Mutual commitment was expressed to work together to promote previously agreed projects, programs and initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Special attention was focused on issues of investment, trade and economic, industrial and transport and logistics cooperation.
