The ceremony was attended by ADSSC Executive Director Ahmad al-Shamsi and Deputy Investment Minister Laziz Kudratov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It is noted that the new water treatment complex will be the largest in Tashkent. Its commissioning will unload other treatment facilities, increase the efficiency of water treatment and the quality of drinking water for residents of the capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">ADSSC will study the basic requirements to determine the configuration and key project parameters. In the future, the parties will agree on the terms of financing, construction and operation of the complex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In recent years, Uzbekistan has been inviting foreign investors, among others, in the field of water supply and sanitation. So, at the end of 2021, the British Metito Utilities <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spot.uz\/ru\/2021\/12\/24\/namangan\/\">won<\/a> a tender for the construction of treatment facilities in Namangan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;Uzsuvtaminot&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spot.uz\/ru\/2022\/08\/29\/sewer\/\">signed<\/a> an agreement with the Uzbek-Turkish Alkata\u015f \u0130n\u015faat ve Taahh\u00fct in August to modernize the Chirchik water treatment system.
