Over the past 6 years, electricity consumption in the capital has increased by 30% and has approached 8 billion kWh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15065\" src=\"http:\/\/sverenins.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/lYOBVG16091499520519_b.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"381\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">At the same time, electricity is supplied to the entire city through one high-voltage power line in Yunusabad, and the substation infrastructure is outdated. A large-scale program for the reorganization of Tashkent&#8217;s power supply, which was announced by the president, is called upon to solve this problem.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">To meet the increased demand in the Tashkent region, four photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 2,400 MW <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Press_Secretary_Uz\/2993\">will be built<\/a>. It is planned to attract $2 billion of direct investments for this.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The largest solar power plant &#8211; for 1000 MW &#8211; will be created near Akhangaran. In Yukorichirchik and Kibray districts, it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spot.uz\/ru\/2023\/03\/11\/energy-for-tashkent\/\">was instructed<\/a> to launch two more solar farms for 700 and 400 MW, respectively. The fourth station with a capacity of 300 MW will be built in Buka.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The implementation of all four projects will increase electricity generation by 6 billion kWh per year, Mirziyoyev said. According to calculations, this volume will cover the needs of 2 million people and 30 thousand enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">For a stable supply of electricity in the capital, new high-voltage networks will be built and substations will be upgraded.
