This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gazeta.uz\/en\/2023\/04\/11\/eib\/\">was reported<\/a> by &#8220;Gazeta.uz&#8221;.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Together with the Asian Development Bank, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the EIB will provide a\u00a0collective $396.4 million to\u00a0finance the construction and operation of\u00a0three solar photovoltaic plants with a\u00a0total output of\u00a0nearly 900 MW.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The project is\u00a0implemented by\u00a0Masdar (UAE), which plans to\u00a0build 220 MW\u00a0photovoltaic power plants Nur Jizzakh in\u00a0Jizzakh region, 220 MW\u00a0Nur Samarkand in\u00a0Samarkand region and 457 MW\u00a0Nur Sherabad in\u00a0Surkhandarya region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The allocated funds will also facilitate the integration of\u00a0these power plants into the national grid, advancing Uzbekistan\u2019s goal of\u00a0generating 7 GW\u00a0of\u00a0solar and 5 GW\u00a0of\u00a0wind energy by\u00a02030.
