This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gazeta.uz\/en\/2023\/04\/14\/cis\/\">was reported<\/a> by &#8220;Gazeta.uz&#8221;.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On\u00a0April 14, the sixth gathering of\u00a0foreign ministers from Central Asian nations and Russia convened in\u00a0Samarkand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">At\u00a0the gathering, it\u00a0was decided to\u00a0designate Samarkand as\u00a0the Cultural Capital of\u00a0the CIS in\u00a02024, while Tashkent will be\u00a0recognized as\u00a0the Youth Capital of\u00a0the CIS the same year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cIt\u00a0seems to\u00a0me\u00a0that this is\u00a0a\u00a0vivid evidence of\u00a0the republic\u2019s active participation in\u00a0the cooperation within the CIS and a\u00a0sign of\u00a0respect for our Uzbek friends,\u201d CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Furthermore, the assembly endorsed a\u00a0proposed resolution to\u00a0create an\u00a0Olympic event for children with disabilities, set to\u00a0take place every four years.
