Joint projects with South Korea worth $13 billion are being implemented in Uzbekistan

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and South Korea Bakhtiyor Saidov and Pak Chin today took part in a joint business forum in Seoul, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

“Together with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea, Park Chin, we welcomed the participants of the Uzbek-South Korean business forum – more than 300 representatives of leading companies from both countries,” the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry wrote in his telegram channel. – It is worth noting that joint projects worth about $13 billion are currently being implemented in Uzbekistan. The number of enterprises operating in our country with the participation of South Korean capital has doubled over the past 4 years. There are much more opportunities for further expansion of interaction. In this regard, we urge everyone to take advantage of this unique moment and combine the advanced developments and innovative technologies of South Korea with the strategic resources and human potential of Uzbekistan.”

Currently, a South Korean company is building a modern 30-story business center in Tashkent City.
