The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of further development of investment cooperation with the UAE

As part of the business program of his stay in the city of Dubai, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on December 2 received a delegation of leading companies of the United Arab Emirates led by the Minister of Investment, Chief Executive Officer of the ADQ holding Muhammad Hassan al-Suwaidi, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of leading Emirati companies “TAQA” Jasim Hussein Thabet and “Masdar” Muhammad Jamil al-Ramahi.

Issues of supporting and promoting joint projects of trade, economic and investment cooperation were considered.

The dynamic development of partnerships in priority sectors of the economy was noted with satisfaction.

The driving force is the growing cooperation in the energy sector. In this direction, during the visit, a Strategic Partnership Agreement was signed with “Masdar”.

At the end of the meeting, the head of our state presented the Chief Executive Officer of “Masdar”, Muhammad Jamil al-Ramahi, with a high state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the Order of Dustlik for his personal contribution to the development of Uzbek-Emirati multifaceted relations.
