The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev met with the director of projects of the Malaysian company Sparco Engineering Raja Arif, the correspondent of ‘Dunyo’ news agency reports.
During the talks, the issues of implementing promising investment projects in Uzbekistan were discussed.
At the meeting, Raja Arif said that his company is considering the possibility of implementing three promising projects in the chemical industry of Uzbekistan. One of the projects is the production of formaldehyde, used in the manufacture of plastics, pharmaceuticals, disinfectants, and UFC85, which is used to create laminated materials and plywood, as well as in the textile industry. Projects for the production of titanium dioxide and maleic acid were also considered.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached that a working group consisting of the company’s management and technical specialists will soon visit Uzbekistan to begin practical work on the implementation of these projects.
The company ‘Sparco Engineering’ was founded on October 10, 2015 in the Malaysian state of Selangor. The company is one of the leading companies in Malaysia in providing EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) solutions for the petrochemical industry.
