A meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade and the Head of Regional Development for Central Asia at the Chinese company Envision Energy Group

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and Zhang Xuan, Head of Regional Development for Central Asia at the Chinese company Envision Energy Group, the press service of the Ministry reports.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed cooperation within the framework of the project to establish the “Nurabad Technopark” Special Industrial Zone in the Samarkand region. The sides reviewed the current progress of the project’s implementation, measures to intensify investment activities, and issues related to the fulfillment of investment commitments.

Particular attention was paid to coordinating the work of the management company, developing the necessary engineering and utility infrastructure, and creating favorable conditions to attract both foreign and domestic investors to the territory of the special industrial zone.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further advancing the project, expanding practical cooperation, and strengthening long-term strategic partnership.
