The Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade held a meeting with the Minister of Economy of Oman

At the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with the Minister of Economy of Oman, Khamis bin Saif Hamed Al-Jabri, the press service of the MIIT reports.

Following a tour of the exhibition, the parties discussed preparations for upcoming joint events, the revitalization of the Intergovernmental Commission, and the signing of a Preferential Trade Agreement. To enhance ties between the business communities of both nations, plans are underway to establish a Business Council.

Furthermore, the delegations reviewed prospects for joint projects across key sectors, including finance, geology, mining, logistics, and the digital economy.

The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to elevating the partnership between Uzbekistan and Oman to a new, practical level.
