A delegation led by Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Zhao Yan, Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province, in Nanjing, PRC, the press service of the MIIT reports.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation alongside the strengthening of investment ties between the regions of Uzbekistan and Jiangsu Province.

The participants expressed mutual interest in advancing industrial cooperation, establishing high-tech manufacturing facilities, and promoting new joint investment projects.

Furthermore, it was noted that active preparations are underway for the high-level participation of the province in the Third Uzbekistan-China Interregional Forum, scheduled to take place on May 20–22 in Xi’an.
