On December 10, 2024, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Rosalba Lo Bue Antico, the press service of the Ministry reports.
During the talks, the current state and key areas for further development of bilateral cooperation were discussed. According to the parties, despite the 4-fold increase in mutual trade volumes in the first 10 months of this year, work in this direction requires the use of all available potential.
In this context, mutual opportunities for the development of trade relations and the implementation of joint investment projects aimed at both domestic and foreign markets were analyzed in detail. At the same time, full readiness to provide comprehensive support to any mutually beneficial initiatives in both countries was confirmed.
The textile industry, transport and logistics, industrial cooperation in the production of popular goods, trade are the areas identified as the highest priority for joint work.
Ambassador Rosalba Lo Bue Antico highly praised the investment climate created in Uzbekistan, which is quite capable of satisfying the demands of the most cautious investors, and assured of her readiness to familiarize the Venezuelan business community with the new opportunities that are opening up.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation, developed a plan of joint activities and mechanisms for operational interaction to implement the discussed projects and initiatives.
