Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade held negotiations with a delegation from ‘‘Asyad Group’’ (Oman)

On October 11th of this year, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, held negotiations with a delegation from ‘‘Asyad Group’’ (Oman) led by Sheikh Nasser Sulaiman Al Harthy, Chairman of the Board, the press service of the Ministry reports. The meeting was also attended by Wafa Jabr Nasser Albusaidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Considering the multifaceted nature of Asyad Group’s activities, a broad spectrum of Uzbek-Omani trade-economic and investment partnership was discussed, with an emphasis on untapped areas and opportunities in which the Omani side could take an active investment role.

The favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activities created in the country were presented, along with projects developed with high net present value indicators for the long term in the fields of textile industry, agriculture, logistics, real estate management, hotel business, and tourism.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties confirmed their firm commitment to developing interaction, identified key sectors for the implementation of new project initiatives, which were reflected in the Cooperation Agreement signed on the sidelines of the meeting.
