A presentation of Uzbekistan’s trade, economic, and investment potential was held in Guangzhou, China.

As part of the “Guangzhou SME Go Abroad” business forum, organized by the Guangzhou Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Guangzhou CCPIT), the Consulate General held a presentation on the economic opportunities of our country, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

The event, attended by over 300 Chinese companies, featured information on the key indicators of Uzbekistan’s sustainable socio-economic development, its investment attractiveness, the industrial potential of its regions, the opportunities of its tourism industry, and the system of benefits and preferences in free economic zones.

Forum participants noted the importance of the consistent reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that the country’s strategic location in the region, the favorable and safe business environment created for investors, and its developed infrastructure offer significant opportunities for Chinese companies.

During negotiations with Zhou Xiaofeng, Deputy Chairman of Guangzhou CCPIT, issues of expanding cooperation aimed at achieving practical results, as well as organizing group visits of business representatives to Uzbekistan, were discussed.
