On the sidelines of the UN Climate Conference in Baku, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala, the press service of the head of our state reports.
They discussed current issues of further development of Uzbek-Czech relations and deepening practical cooperation in priority areas.
The Czech Republic has traditionally been an important European partner of our country. In recent years, the volume of mutual trade has doubled, the number of joint ventures and projects has tripled.
The need to intensify the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission, develop a “road map” for increasing trade turnover and an industrial cooperation program with specific projects was emphasized.
Particular attention was paid to expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
