Banking and Financial Forum “BankExpo-2019” held in Tashkent

From April 11 to April 13, a banking and financial forum BankExpo-2019 is held in Tashkent. The forum will feature the latest banking and financial services, equipment and technology. The forum is organized by the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan. The conference will be opened by the Director General of the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan B. Khamidov.

Representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Alkis Drakinos, the Asian Development Bank Bobir Gafurov, the International Finance Corporation Galina Klimenko will speak at the forum. A number of local banks will also present their current achievements and future development plans.

At the exhibition site during Bank Talks, experts will be able to share experiences. There will also be a session of “Start Up Initiatives”, which will allow attracting not only interest but also investment to your project. A number of foreign companies will also take part in the exhibition.

“One of the main goals of the BankExpo-2019 exhibition is to provide financial and banking institutions with a platform for establishing fruitful relations not only with the business community, but also with representatives of foreign companies,” said Bakhtiyar Hamidov, Director General of the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan. – The exchange of best practices and technologies, the introduction of IT solutions to the tasks of financial and banking institutions is the key to sustainable development of the banking and financial sector and, as a result, the development of the economy of our country as a whole. Our main goal reflects the slogan of the exhibition: “The activities of banks – the development of the country.”
