The number of enterprises with foreign capital in Uzbekistan has reached 11 thousand

On February 1, 2020, the number of enterprises with the participation of foreign capital amounted to 11 thousand. This indicator increased by 3 thousand or 37%. In January 2020, 255 enterprises with the participation of foreign capital were created.

As follows from the information of the State Statistics Committee, the most of foreign enterprises belong to the Russian Federation (1864), Turkey (1690), China (1306), Kazakhstan (827) and Korea (824).

In Tashkent 6,253 enterprises with foreign capital were registered (59% of total). The three regions preferred for foreign capital include, in addition to the capital, the Tashkent region, where 1170 enterprises (11%) operate and the Samarkand region – 516 (4.9%).
