Uzbek delegation will present the investment potential of the country in Brussels

On June 17, 2019, a delegation of Uzbekistan led by an adviser to the Ministry of Innovation Development with the rank of Deputy Minister Karsten Heinz began a visit to the city of Brussels.

As part of the visit, the Uzbek delegation will hold a presentation of the investment potential of the republic, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belgium, together with the European Institute for Asian Studies. About 100 people are expected to attend this event. from representatives of ministries, departments, research centers, business circles and the media of the Benelux countries and EU institutions.

Substantive negotiations are planned for the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the European External Action Service, the Directorate General of the EU Commission on International Cooperation and Development, and the Directorate General for Research and Innovation.

In addition, the delegation will take part in the International Forum “European Development Days” on June 18-19. This main multilateral event in Europe, dedicated to development and financial and technical assistance, annually organized by the EU Commission since 2006, will be attended by more than 8 thousand people. from representatives of institutions and EU member countries, donors, recipients, international organizations, as well as the private sector and civil society.
