Business visas with China

On September 26, 2019, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on visa facilitation for representatives of the business community entered into force.

In accordance with the Agreement, each party undertakes to issue multiple business visas for up to 6 months within 5 working days.

To apply for a multiple business visa, citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan must submit the following documents to the Chinese Embassy in Tashkent:

passport and its copy;

application for visa and photo.

An official invitation from an authorized Chinese organization or confirmation of this invitation (with a bar code) received with the help of the inviting party in China. You can also provide a letter from the relevant state bodies or a guarantee letter from the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce.

When granting a business visa to representatives of the Chinese business community, the inviting party must provide the following documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

visa application on letterhead;

an electronic visa application form completed on the site “evisa.mfa.uz”;

a copy of the identity document of the invited person.

certificate from the place of work of the invited person (if necessary).
