Export and investment potential of Uzbekistan presented in Tokyo for start-up companies in Japan

Ambassador Mukhsinhuja Abdurakhmonov together with CIC Japan G.K. held a presentation of the investment and export potential of Uzbekistan for start-up companies in Japan.

CIC Japan G.K. unites more than 200 start-ups and leading Japanese companies and develops and implements innovative developments and business proposals.

The Ambassador spoke about the investment potential of Uzbekistan, the favorable opportunities created for doing business in the country, the activities of free economic zones and the tax benefits provided, and preferences for foreign investors, the availability of natural resources, the existing developed infrastructure in the regions of the country.

Also during the presentation, taking into account the rapidly growing IT industry and innovation in Uzbekistan, as well as the development of information technology and communications, an agreement was reached on establishing cooperation between the company “CIC Japan G.K.” and its partners and “IT-Park” Uzbekistan for the implementation of joint projects and the introduction of innovative ideas and solutions. Representatives of start-up companies in Japan expressed interest in a closer study of the potential of the republic and the establishment of bilateral ties.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the proposal of mutual contacts, and the organization of regular participation in the events of the company “CIC Japan G.K.” representatives of Uzbekistan.
